My first suggestion is to be to host an ice cream social. This is a great way to treat the patients that have appointments on that day, but also encourage those that don’t have appointments to stop in for a special treat. Just think, kids will actually WANT to visit the dentist!
Secondly, you might want to give away a “summer survival” kit. Perhaps you can partner with other businesses and include things like chap stick, sunscreen, beach balls, and a fun pair of sunglasses.
Lastly, during the summertime, festivals and special events are abundant! Be sure to take advantage of this time to make your presence known. Set up a booth or table and pass out information on your practice. Offer free giveaways, such as movie tickets, gift cards, discount on dental treatments, etc. Collect potential patient info and keep in touch!
