This new CMS website design was created by Greg, one of our newest designers. As you can see from the thumbnail photo below, Greg is an extremely talented web designer who is helping us to expand our web design portfolio with very classy, high quality designs.

During the design discovery interview, our client explained to us that he wanted his website to look clean and elegant, and that he liked shades of black, gray and white. He also provided us with his own amazing orchid photography for us to display on the website. As a result, Greg produced a top notch design.

We were able to obtain traffic statistics for a two-year period, and we think that what it shows is revealing. Here is the traffic pattern, as measured by the web-stat web metrics program:

We have been doing their SEO, as you can see, since June 2008, and from July 2008 to November 2009, we were able to more than double it.

In late December, this client contracted with their existing design firm to re-do the design. There is somewhat of a gap in the counter traffic for part of December, and all of January, because of needing to reconfigure the traffic software. At that point, the client decided to try someone else for SEO.  You can see the effect on the traffic was severe, cutting it back to less than half of what it was while we were taking care of their SEO. And from May to August 2010, it decreased every month.

We’re happy to welcome the client back, and will enjoy getting their traffic back up and helping them convert that traffic into patients.

And this graph is also instructive for our new clients. Notice that, while it is in the growth phase, the traffic grows in spurts. Some months there may be less traffic than the month before, but the overall trend is an upward climb. Notice also that once we hit the twelfth month and we have reached the promised traffic levels, we continue to do SEO and traffic keeps increasing. If you stay with us, our goal is to continue increasing your traffic year after year. This is one of the secrets to our client retention.

I first learned about cosmetic dentistry after going to www.mynewsmile.com. As I browsed the website, I learned that cosmetic dentists have special skills from their extensive training and additional continuing education, beyond what the dental schools teach. Then I looked at some of the before and after patient photos, and I read some of the blog posts that people sent to the author of this website, Dr. David Hall. Dr. Hall is actually a former cosmetic dentist himself, and he gives people like you and me honest, unbiased dental advice. I liked the website so much that I contacted Dr. Hall to see if he would refer me to a good cosmetic dentist in Arizona. Dr. Hall responded to me soon thereafter and told me to contact Dr. Troy Gombert at Parkside Dental Health in Chandler. Before contacting Dr. Gombert, I explored his website. I was so impressed by his work, especially after reading about his credentials and looking at his Smile Gallery, that I was convinced I needed to give him a try.

Now that I’ve seen Dr. Gombert for my cleaning, exam and crown replacement for one of my molars, I’m so impressed with his work that I booked another appointment next week to replace my 25-year-old front crown.
