Sonora’s making sure things are right.
Job Title
Marketing Assistant
What’s that like?
I ensure that our client’s proper information appears online. The consistency and availability of this information in the data ecosystem is important for our clients to rank in local search. I enjoy making reports, and fixing any errors in the information found online. I also enjoy knowing that I’m a contributing factor in client satisfaction.
What motivates you to work hard?
Will power and optimistic thought—self-motivation is very important.
What was your first job?
My first job was preparing products sold in an online business.
What’s your proudest professional accomplishment?
My proudest professional accomplishment is getting this job at Infinity Dental Web. As a young adult with little professional experience, but a great deal of educative skills, my mentors and confidants explained that I’d probably have to take a job in the fast food industry as a resume builder. Now, I’ve experienced the anxiety of getting my first “real job,” and I’m proud of myself for earning this opportunity.
What would you sing at Karaoke night?
Anything! I love to sing, and it’s fun to get on stage and have fun.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pizza. Pizza is the one glorious food I’m never, ever bored of. It’s like a little piece of heaven in your mouth.
List two pet peeves.
Ungrateful people—everyone has something for which to be grateful. Instead of complaining be positive, and be grateful for what you do have.
People who judge someone before getting to know them. This one of my biggest pet peeves because you can’t judge a book by its cover. Maybe if you get to know someone you thought was rude, weird, or “not your type,” you’ll find that person to be one of your favorite people. You never know!
If you had to describe yourself as an animal, which one would it be?
I’d describe myself as a lion. I love lions—they’re strong, but mysterious, and they analyze a lot.
What was the last movie you went to? What did you think?
The last movie I went to see was The Visit. It was nothing like the previews made it out to be, and it was one of the weirdest movies I’ve ever seen. Definitely something to watch if you’re into weird, creepy movies.
