It was all the chicken’s fault!
Have you ever had one of those mornings when nothing goes right? Those are the days when you wish you could come up with an excuse that nobody has ever heard of, something so off the wall and out of the ordinary that it HAS to be true. Well, you are in luck! I have an excuse that one of my co-workers here at Infinity Dental Web used this morning. We received an email that said,
“Shoot, I’m running a little late this morning. I thought I could bake a chicken starting at 6:00 a.m. to be finished cooking before 7:30 a.m., but of course it’s not done yet! Ever heard that excuse?”
Can you believe that anyone would actually make this up? Of course we believed her, but I must say, it would have gone over better if she tried to make up for being late by bringing in lunch!
Chicken anyone? I think I might have to visit Colonel Sanders on the way home!
