The American Dental Association considers the month of February Children’s Dental Health Month. Promoting this would be a great opportunity for your practice to get some publicity and recognition.
You can start by contacting your local schools and perhaps sponsor some sort of contest. It can be as simple as a coloring contest for elementary students, or a trivia contest for older children. The prize could be an electric toothbrush, teeth whitening, or a discount on braces. Use your imagination and think of other creative ways to use this opportunity to your benefit. You might want to sponsor a class tour of your dental office, or even offer free dental services for those that cannot afford it.
Infinity Dental Web has a client who is a pediatric Columbus dentist, and I’m sure they will be taking full advantage of this opportunity to attract more patients!
As you are well aware, Christmas is right around the corner. The official shopping season begins this Friday and is known as Black Friday. Just about every store known to man tries to lure in excited buyers trying to find that perfect gift. They do this by offering huge discounts and sales. Did you know that your dental office can cash in on holiday spending too?
Many of our Infinity Dental Web clients offer spa dentistry, so this is an easy way to introduce your added services to patients. You can put together a “Rejuvenation Package” for massages or facials, or a “Youthful Package” for your Botox and similar services.
Are you a cosmetic dentist or offer cosmetic services? You can present Invisalign as a lifetime gift for parents to purchase for their children. Or how about Zoom Whitening for teeth that are “white as snow”? There are teeth whitening pens, electric toothbrushes, and other small items which would be great stocking stuffers as well.
Of course, if you are going to cash in on holiday spending, your office needs to look the part. Go ahead and put up that Christmas tree, hang the stockings, and put up lights to attract attention to your office. Maybe you can offer your patients hot chocolate and candy canes to help put them in the spirit. And if you have patients that experience dental anxiety, I’ll bet seeing their favorite dentist dressed up as Santa would definitely relax them!
